Q&A

  • Is there an admission fee?

    No, there is no admission fee! However, at the moment, we can only accommodate guests for ranch activities with an advance reservation. Once the cafe is open, everybody will be welcome anytime.

  • Can I just come for the cafe?

    Absolutely! It will be inaugurated this autumn.

  • Does it ever happen for a horse to get out of control?

    It is very rare as our horses are trained. However, like any animal, a horse might get startled by sudden movements or unexpected noise.

  • Is possible for small children to ride?

    As a safety precaution, we have set the following physical requirements: riders must be between 6 and 70 years old, with a minimum height of 120 cm and a weight below 90 kg.

  • Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

    Yes, we require a one-week advance reservation. However, only for horseback riding activities, reservations can be made with just two days' notice. Nevertheless, as our schedule is quite dynamic, a last-minute reservation by phone would be worth a try!

  • Can I cancel my reservation?

    Yes, it is possible, but please note that a cancellation fee will be charged as follows:
    - 1 week to 3 days before: 30%
    - 2 days prior: 50%
    - 1 day prior / same day: 100%

  • Can I go auto-camping?

    Yes! You are welcome, though there will be a different fee.

  • Can I bring my own food or have my own picnic at the ranch?

    In general, there wouldn't be any problem if you bring your own meal, including a picnic, to the activities offered at the ranch. However, we do require a reservation to enter the ranch property.

  • About the reservation during holidays and winter time

  • Where are we?

    By car we are:
    45 minutes away from Kushiro airport
    30 minutes away from Kushiro city
    At the ranch there is a wide free parking lot.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Unfortunately pets are not allowed.

  • About payment

    Package activity must be paid in advance through bank transfer (handling fees are the responsibility of the customers); credit cards are not accepted at the moment.
